Q: Where is DAL best applied?
Direct Action Lubricant is designed to be applied to friction bearing components. High-wear moving parts such as AR15 bolt carrier groups, cam pins, gas rings, rifle actions, semi-auto pistol rails, shotguns, salt water fishing reels, and other precision equipment.
Q: Will DAL protect my firearm?
Our proprietary formulation will preserve and protect metals and polymers from premature wear. We engineered a kinematic viscosity (cS) that allows our product to stay in place over time. While in use it is designed to repel carbon build up around critical components. Retains a durable boundary film due to its unique synthetic formula. Advanced rust inhibitors for extreme exposure to the environment. Hydrophobic and insoluble in water. Safe on metals, plastics, rubber and wood. Contains no solvents.
Q: What is the design temperature of DAL?
Direct Action Lubricant has been field tested and rated for design temperatures exceeding +535°F and -81°F. The 100% synthetic durable composition of DAL will not burn and produce carbon like traditional gun oils.
Q: How often do I apply DAL?
You should follow the manufacturers instructions. Inspect the weapon and ensure it is unloaded and made safe before cleaning and lubricating.
Inspect friction and glide points. Firearms should normally be cleaned after use. Once thoroughly cleaned apply DAL to all contact and glide surfaces.
Q: How do I apply DAL Gun Cleaner?
After applying DAL Gun Cleaner & Carbon Remover, wipe away excess carbon and fouling. For severe build up allow the product to work 2-5 minutes before removing. Use bore brushes and cleaning tools as necessary.
Q: Is DAL Gun Cleaner safe?
Safe on surfaces (metal, aluminum, plastic, rubber and wood). Non-corrosive, non- flammable and non-toxic. Does not contain ammonia.
